Rob Ofsoski (Director)
Rob has been in the scrap metal industry for over 40 years and having owned and operated businesses from New Plymouth to the Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas, has a vast experience in the import/export and scrap metal processes. The family’s involvement in the scrap metal trade goes as far back as the 1930’s, when Robs grandfather embarked on this path. Over the years, Rob has witnessed many changes in the scrap metal trade – for example, from the early telephone exchange systems which were removed to make way for the modern telecommunication computerisation, and now changes again with the introduction of fibre optics. It is this ever changing environment and materials that Metalco Recyclers have kept pace with and as a result, ensure a top quality and up-to-date service.

Glenn Scoble
General Manager
Glenn has been involved in the scrap metal industry for almost 40 years, his career in scrap started with working for his father in 1979. He has since owned and operated his own international trading business for around 30 years. Of recent times he has been both a Trading Manager and Yard Manager for a large multi-national scrap company based in Australia. As General Manager of Metalco Recyclers Ltd, Glenn is looking forward to being involved with a progressive and dynamic family owned scrap metal processing business.

Frank Koroheke
Hamilton Site Manager
Frank has over 20 years’ experience in the scrap metal industry in the Waikato area. He maintains a tidy and efficient yard and is a familiar figure on the site. The Hamilton depot is equipped to handle the processing of items as small as aluminium cans to the dismantling and processing of wrecked cars and massive bulldozers and cranes.

Gordon Lowe
Palmerston North Site Manager
Gordon has been involved in the scrap industry for 15 years. Recently he has become the manager of our Palmerston North Branch.
